Vegan Dessert with added health!

Vegan Bliss Balls

These Bliss Balls are incredibly easy to make, delicious and yes, healthy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried fruit (try ¾ cup medjool dates and ¼ cup of sulphur free dried apricots)
  • 1 cup nuts (I used almonds and cashews)
  • ⅓ cup coconut oil
  • ⅓ cup organic raw cacao powder
  • 2 drops of Pure Orange Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Power of 3 Blend: Maple Cinnamon or Coconut Goji
  • ½ cup shredded coconut

Method:

Soak the medjool dates (if you are using them) for 15 minutes in warm water to soften.

While you are waiting, blend the nuts on high speed until they reach a fine crumb/meal texture. Remove the nuts from the bowl and set them aside.

Blend the dried fruit, cacao powder, ¼ cup of shredded coconut, orange extract, coconut oil, and Power of 3 Blend until the mixture reaches a smooth texture.

Add the ground nuts and blend together until everything has combined.

Once the ingredients are completely combined, remove the mixture from the processor with a spoon and roll into small balls.

Coat the balls in shredded coconut and store them in an airtight container in the fridge.

Leave them for a few hours so they reach a firmer consistency.

These can also be stored in the freezer. Delicious!
