This smoothie recipe is for the Pitta types out there!
Pitta Pacifying Smoothie
Note for you Pitta types, especially in summer: Avoid salty foods, pungent or spicy flavors like radishes and hot chilies, sour FOODS like kefir, /favor sweet and cooling flavors
Ingredients:
· 1 sweet apple
· 1/2 handful of kale
· ½ handful of cilantro or cilantro sprouts
· 1 stock celery
· 3 strawberries
· ½ sweet orange
· 2 TBS Coconut Goji PowerBlend
Add 1 cup of water, (unsweetened or plain) coconut water and/or coconut milk (more or less for desired consistency).
