Cooling Summer Smoothie

Sometimes we just need to turn the dial way down and this cooling summer smoothie does the trick. It's simple, tart and satiates that deep summer thirst. 
 
From one of our favorite #vegan bloggers, The Minimalist Baker we tested out this 5-ingredient smoothie and found it be creamy and refreshing. And we couldn't help but add one of our PowerBlends to fortified its taste with fiber, omega3s and protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 large ripe, sliced and frozen banana (~1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp Original PowerBlends
  • 3/4 cup Plain Unsweetened Almond Milk
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
  2. Taste and adjust flavor as needed. Add more milk or fruit juice if too thick. Add more frozen banana if not sweet enough. Serve immediately.
